There are many successful technological brands, such as Apple, Samsung, Hewlett-Packard and Dell to name a few. One of the two most compared technology companies are Hewlett-Packard and Dell. It is no doubt that both these companies are remarkable and made their brand such by producing high quality products.
William Redington Hewlett and David Packard founded Hewlett-Packard Company in 1939, They both graduated from Stanford University with a degree in electrical engineering and later, went on to establishing Hewlett-Packard (HP) it specialized in manufacturing computing, data storage, and designing software, it went on to developing this hardware and software for many businesses, including consumers from the education, government and health sectors. In the 1970’s they came up with the first desktop computer and had many pc sales in Singapore. Packard passed away in 1996 and Hewlett passed away in 2001, in 2015 it was announced that Hewlett-Packard legally ceases to exist and split into two companies; HP Inc. and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Leading to its name being changed to HP Inc. and Hewlett Packard Enterprise to be a new publicly traded company.
Michael Dell founded Dell in 1984; it is one of the subsidiary companies of Dell technologies. It is currently one of the largest technology companies in the world. It not only manufactures personal computers, but repairs and supports network switches, computer software, computer peripherals, cameras, laptops and printers.
Hewlett-Packard and Dell have a different build, Dell laptops tend to be larger in size, making it slightly harder to carry around, but they make sure their air flow is good to stop their laptops from heating up fast. Where as Hewlett-Packard are less heavy and sleek but at the same time heat up quite fast.
HP shops sell only a few standard colors, and Dell provides a variety of color ranges, even though Dell offers many colors Hewlett-Packard laptops are said to be more sophisticated looking.
Hewlett-Packard performance is greater than Dell and has a higher battery life that Dell. They also have a number of features that perform better than DELL and therefore Dell laptops are much cheaper compared to HP notebooks.
